Note: Due to shoulder surgery, I was unable to post the August-October 2011 issues. A left knee replacement is scheduled for December 28th, so this issue is for November & December 2011. I appreciate your patience and prayers.

November/December 2011
Put on your comfy slippers, brew a cup of your favorite beverage, add a couple of cookies (all calories removed, of course) and sit a spell. It is our heart's desire that 4Him2U will feed and water your soul as you walk daily with the Lord.
Hilo! I am Constance, usually called Connie, the publishing editor and one of the writers for 4Him2U. I'd like to take a break, get a Chai Tea Latte and visit awhile. Okay?
Some of my favorite verses comes from 1 Corinthians 2:6-7, 9-11 & 16, which reads:
Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But, as it is written*", "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"-- these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except [through] the Spirit of God.
"For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
God wants us to know Him! It is incredible; and beyond my comprehension that He, who spoke the world into being, wants me- but a speck in time and place- to know and understand Him... to be part of His plan for the world, and "...to grasp how wide, how long, how high and how deep is His love for us."
I believe God wants me to share some of His truths with you. 4Him2U was birthed for that reason alone. It is meant to touch hearts. It is meant for learning, comforting and encouraging.
I wanted to write when I learned to read. However, that door did not open for me until I was 60 years old. Yet now I know He was preparing me for this throughout my life; through my experiences, through the people who crossed my path, from my education both formal and informal, and ways I am not aware of. I realize also that I had to wait until cyberspace communication was possible. (God knew we'd get around to it.) Instead of writing for a few, I can now write for many, around the world.
Because you are reading this, you have opened the door for me to sit a spell and chat with you. I am blessed because you allowed my writers and me to enter your home. I pray that we can learn from one another and that we will open ourselves to the guidance and nurturing of the Holy Spirit. We have to seek His Spirit for we are leaky vessels who need constant refilling.
